All At Sea

Tuesday 7th January. I don’t know don’t know when this will be posted as for the next seven days we shall be all at sea.
We left La Coruna right on time, only half an hour late and slowly, carefully, backed away from the quay..and then spent the next two hours going round and round in circles in neutral while the engineers tried to fix a problem with the stabilizers.
Finally, we headed out into the Atlantic, turned left and set off towards Antigua and into another very rough night with things rolling around and walls creaking. It’s like being in some sort of haunted house. Suddenly the ship will lurch to the left or right as it hits a wave.
However, this morning, the sea has definitely calmed as we enter deeper water and the sun has even put in an appearance.
